Optimum placement of the VIB: VIB-TWO
In order to obtain maximum suppression you need to take the following steps:
1. Remove the cover and attach some pieces of self-adhesive 1,5 mm bitumen on the inside. Do the same to the side plating of the cabinet. Therefore remove the paper protection sheet. Don't place bitumen above a CD- or DVD-drive, if, for some reason, the bitumen loosens the drive might jam!
2. Turn the cabinet upside down and remove the existing feet.
3. Place the cabinet upside down. Take a 4 mm thick bitumen sheet and cut holes where obstacles (screwheads etc.) protrude.
4. Now attach the bitumen to the bottom plate.
5. Remove the thin transparent sheet from the bitumen layer.
6. Now place the VIB-ONE or VIB-TWO on the bitumen layer.
7. The equipment is placed on the feet and now you have to fasten the equipment ridgidly to the VIB construction. On the inside at free places in the bottom drill 4 or 6 holes of 3 mm wide. Take screws of 3,5 x 10 mm and fasten it tightly.
8. Now you connect the equipment to your installation and will enjoy a much better vision and sound!
