HAWK LOUDSPEAKERS
The loudspeakers from Hawk all are constructed in a PVC tube with a rather thin wall (3 mm). The advantage of this construction is that there's almost no dispersion. So the stereo image can be experienced over a large area in the listening room. There's hardly a "hot spot". Also the material PVC is a "thermoplast". This material converts pressure into heat. In that way the cabinet will not vibrate and will not produce "coloration".

Another difference is that the applied filtering is done by a kind of "series filter". This type of filtering uses less components and the cross-over frequency of the various units always is at exactly the same frequency and NOT depending on the tolerance of the components. This technique adds to a more "laid back" performance.

In addition, Audio Note UK manufactures an entire range of high end finished products for audiophiles all over the world. They also manufacture the Speaker Kits. The speaker kits come with a complete set of drivers, tweeters, crossover, bass port, hardware and drawings that would allow someone to buy the wood and build their own cabinets to the Audio Note specifications (although we can also pre-built supply cabinets - (see below).
